Black Lion Decals has been started by Michel Boer, Jan Giesbers and Antal Giesbers, and is based in the Netherlands.

Michel Boer is a decal designer, who has designed in the past for Landships Decals and is now the sole proprietor of Black Lion Decals.

At modelshows, we're normally manning a joint trade stand, selling the products of all of our brands. When we're not doing a show, we team up designing decals, 
building master models and doing research, helping eachother out on all of our projects. The modelshop (click the link in the left menu) is a joint shop where you can
buy all products from Black Lion, TAS, Giesbers / Den Bels and Giesbers Media.

Jan Giesbers is well known in the modelling world for his series of models, marketed under Giesbers Models and Den Bels Models.
Antal Giesbers is a publisher, who has a.o. written a book on the battle of Overloon in 1944 (Operation Aintree), which was the only tankbattle ever on Dutch soil.
Rob Tas joined the team as a co-designer, specialised in the British Army and postwar vehicles and has recently started TAS Models, specializing in bunkers and Dutch subjects.
